Yubashoes
was developing an assault
snowshoe for the U.S Armed
forces. It had to be lightweight yet durable,
simple in construction, could withstand abuse, and the obvious
temperature
extremes. We helped engineer, design and fabricate the metal claw
(crampon)
that is critical for grip on ice, and hardpack snow. Below is the
finished
product.
